Aside from the Henne debate, Penny & Thigpen are FA's after the season. Doesn't that worry anyone ? I can't expect Penny will come back at all, and if we lose Thigpen, we are down to one experienced QB on the roster. Isn't this just p*ss poor planning on Ireland's part ????????????? WTF do we do ? Where do we turn for help ?
No, I'm not worried. Pennington is done and Tyler Thigpen is a pretty average quarterback. They may re-sign him or Buffalo may sign him and work out a QB controversy for Chan Gailey. We can turn to free agency and a young quarterback in the NFL Draft. Pair someone up like Kyle Orton and a rookie.
We could certainly do worse than Neckbeard. Without knowing who the next OC is going to be, who do you like as a developmental guy?
