Lets get to this man, try and figure out what kind of football team were gonna have this year..

The sight of Jason Allen starting once again sickens my stomach..Sean must have done something real bad to piss someone off, Allen gets cut soon so I have a feeling this is not going to be a good game either..Its ok, i'am over him, and excited by his subtraction..

Question for ya'll, how are you interpreting this no huddle sh$# that teams are throwin at us? personally I'am taking it as a sign of respect, I really think teams know that can't beat us strait up, hat on a hat..It just so happens the times where I have seen sustained drives this year usually coincides with that formation..I believe defensive familiarity combined with our speed and athleticism on defense will have our players arriving just a bit earlier this year than last..Yeah, were gonna be good on defense, really good..

I cant blame this defense for being a bit flat after the raping they got last week, I can live with it, Palmer does a beautiful job at the LOS, executing the no huddle, and beating Jason Allen down the field, the TD he gave up to TO for 6 on a slant from our 7 yard line, he was trailing 5 yards behind him...lol..Kid should of been benched this week,no doubt..

Henne's first pass...''Excellent, Excellent execution from QB to receiver''

This pass was pretty, a 19 yarder on a deep out where he had to take something off of it and let if fall into the only spot to be completed...It was a perfect pass..no bs.

2nd pass, 3rd and 3, Henne drops and fires a quick curl to Bess for 4..accurate good ball placement..

3rd pass..Henne to Bess for 10 yards on a simple 5 step drop rhythm pass to the sideline, ball was released before the head of the receiver was turned..He threw the ball 20 yards on a rope.

Ummmm, So henne on 2nd and 9, throws this pass down the seam with nice touch into triple coverage,Iam like, why did he throw it so effortlessly into triple coverage, I looked at the play 5 times..Bess saw Nelson comin, pulled up, and did not even look at the ball in the air..Incomplete, but the throw, not to bad man..

So then he comes back on 3rd and 9 at their 20 and takes another shot in the endzone, excellent pass to Wallace who flat out drops it, right in his stinky hands..He went out of bounce anyway so It wouldn't of mattered..

    Very nice drive By Henne..

lol..and SS24 takes the place of the bewildered one Jason Allen..bout damn time.

Clemons should of had a pick on the bengals 2nd drive, kid made a nice break on the ball, zipped thru his hands..

Hennes first pass on the drive to fasano for 9, split a double team on that, he aimed the ball and it went right where he wanted it to go..

So he's 4 for 4 on this drive, a nine yarder, a 10 yarder, a check down for 4, and a set up screen for about 2 to ricky...

2nd and 8, back to ricky, picks up 5.

3rd and 3, Henne drops, buys a little time, throws a 15 yarder to fasano on the sideline, first down..sO YADE DE YADE DA, He nee 5 for 5 on the drive..little conservative on the playcalling but Henne in rhythm...ooops, I spoke too soon, wildcat at their 35 yard line..Ricky doesn't have the speed to get to the edge, no gain.

Henne now in shotgun on 2nd and 10, 8 yards to bess on a nice throw, 6 for 6 on the drive, just eating clock.

He drops on 3rd down and 2, throws to ronnie in the flat, after looking downfield {noone open}, accurately, he throws to ronnie who has one man to beat, but drops the football..That guy should be gettin paid in doughnuts so far this year, he'd probably like that, maybe play some fullback in the twilight of his career.

    3 points.

Sean Smith shows some quick twitch movement and makes a great play on a deep ball...

Defense forces 3 and out, lets see what Henning and Henne do..

He executes a very nice PA fake, stumbles on his drop, recovers, steps up in the pocket throws to Hart for 8.

Ricky no gain, Than Henne throws incomplete on an out patter, receiver was covered..Wilcotts says Henne threw it where he had to, where the defender couldn't get it, just good coverage..Than he says, dolphin fans would like a better throw..lol...what..

Oh man, iam boring myself thru this game..

could this be the reason for the benching..Henne was executing his responsibilities just fine, but is he engaging the other players to step up their game? was the benching a lesson on how to communicate with your players on the field..

So check it, Were backed up at our 10, Henning calls the deepest pass of the game, he lines cobbs up in the slot, lol, Cobbs runs a deep kind of fade, henne throws the ball about 40 tards in the air, drops it right into his basket...dropped..The old cobarooni could hold on..

Ricky for no gain, now 3rd and ten, Henne drops, throws into triple coverage, badthrow, bad play, how you want to quantify that in the context of this study, uhhhhh, I dont know, 2nd year starter sh$# maybe, backed in your own end zone on 3rd and long, or DAMN THAT HENNE, iam just gonna forget everything up until this point, and start thinking about benching his ***?...To each is own..

If Cobbs catches the ball, or if we have a better player in route, were copin his jock on that play..

So you know what happens next right, lol...They get the ball at our 30 somethin, Palmer drops, throws a floater on first down, clemons poops his pants on a real professional football field and gives TO the diaper.

wow...I dont know what to say...its late, ia'm boring you guys.. I'll do the 2nd half 2maro ya'll..I've had enough of this for one nite.

P.s...the only thing I could think of in terms of a benching, is Chad has been so consumed about his positions responsibilities, and doing them very well, that he is not engaging his teammates on the field, thus their slacking off and not playing with a sense of urgency????..I pulled that one out my *** but thats all I got with 1 and a half games before the benching.

bottom line, I'am disgusted this kid was benched, we must use some relative perspective..and imo, we must give this kid another chance, without the pressure..He took the hit man..really did..

Like I heard King Motion say in another thread earlier...Tape don't lie..

I've been meaning to ask you. Were you a fan of Henne when you started this venture of rewinding all the game film, or has breaking the game film down just made it painfully obvious he's done nothing wrong? I mean aside from being a young QB who just hasn't experienced it all yet?

I say this as a Henne fan. I never got to see enough of the games to make a great assessment but of the games I did see, i always saw wrs just fail to make plays for him. I remember that drop by Wallace distinctly. I remember thinking that as soon as we'd get into the redzone it was like all of our wr's just turned into ****

meanwhile, i have to watch Jerricho Cotchery and Santonio Holmes make catches with torn ligaments and turn slants into 80 yarders for Sanchez on a weekly basis.

    inching to 100k posts
Nolan likes to roll in Sub packages for coverages and the no huddle limits what he can do.

And keep watching Deej, you'll see Hennezilla soon enough, not in the Bengals game but.well you will see.

So why in the hell did Henning march out the WC after Henne hit Fasano on the sideline at the 9:42 mark second QTR?
Chad was moving us just fine.....

1:07 mark Fasano should have made that catch. He was open in space.....
Put that one on Henne like the announcers ( Solomon Wilcotts) well then you weren't watching

Carpenter makes it 14-9 with 54 seconds left in the first half.

I was hard on Henne Citi, I supported the benching..I knew Pennington was chompin at the bit, and I fell for his enthusiasm, the more I think about this the more I think what Henne needs to work on most is his ability to communicate and inject emotion into his play and his teammates play..He needs a moment where he lets it all go..I think his offseason work might be all about this element of his game...leadership..His offense needs it...and let me tell ya something, the 2 hold over players, ronnie and ricky, ain't sh$# in that dept..They did nothing to help him.

Actually, no. He won't. The OL falls apart, the WR corps falls apart, Henne pretty much plays the same all year. The results vary based on the opposition and the players around him, but the QB was pretty consistent all year. Of course you'll have to watch the games 2-3 times to figure this out. I think that explains a lot of the differing opinions on his performance or lackthereof.

what am I supposed to see that I wouldn't have already seen in 7 games Pod?..This kid is bordering on a 95/100 passer rating thru 7 with some logical adjustments..He hasn't done sh%$ to deserve the benching, you keep saying he does, which I don't understand..You got some nonperformace related rationale that your holding back on?

rememebr bro, I'am only talking about the benching, maybe the 2nd half of the season he reacts poorly, and doesn't adjust to the pressure thus not inspiring confidence that hes the man..we'll see, but as far as being benched...BS..
