@WillieD_effect: I Apologize for the double move, 4th and short and I jumped the double move. Glad I learned it now then later, learning everyday. #Phinsup
Tannehill 11-15 141 1 0 05-09 075 1 0 02-05 011 0 0 Tannehill through 3 games is 18-29 62% 227 yards 2 touchdowns 0 interceptions While not dominate, if he continues to play this well, I think Miami will win some games.
Two things: 1. Watching video of the Swearinger hit, that is not dirty. Sorry. It may look dirty because of the result of Kellers injury which no doubt sucks but hes been doing that for 3 years at South Carolina. He hits hard and he hits often. The fact that Keller was planted when he hit him was what caused that injury. Hopefully its not what we all fear. He even went over to him to say he was sorry. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000231285/Dustin-Keller-injures-knee 2. DeAndre Hopkins got a concussion. I didnt see the game but Im sure the Texan fans probably feel as ticked as a lot of us feel possibly losing Keller. Hopkins was having a very strong camp.
He has almost 1 full game in preseason playing time. Extrapolate those numbers and you get: 288-464 62% 3632 yards 32 TDs 0 INTs. LOL
yardage total is lower then Id like but ill take those numbers. We'd win plenty of games with that performance.
You really can't equate a concussion to blowing up your knee. Also, the dude went helmet first straight at his lower body. You can make an argument he did not intend to injure him, but there is no doubt that was a dirty hit. Keller had his back to him and he could have just as easily hit him in the midsection or wrapped him up before Keller even turned to run.
Samuda and Matt Moore stand out for being bad tonight. For good, I'd say Tanny, Daniel Thomas (yeah, really) and maybe Wallace. Shout out to Martin for another solid uneventful day. When you don't hear anything about Martin, you have to be happy.
Good: Tanny Thomas Wallace AJ Francis Grimes First String D Gibson Rodriguez on STs Jesse Agler as Play By Play Guy Bad: Samuda Hartline Moore 2 & 3 rd string olines Dion Sims Davis Miller Nat Moore and Bob Griese (as always) in the booth The sound guy
Geeze, they are in Houston, and he probably wasn't in any condition to clean out his own locker or pack his bags. Here's a news flash, I'll bet every Dolphins players locker was cleaned out tonight.
Obviously Swearinger felt he didnt either have the proper angle to wrap up Keller or wasnt strong enough. But if you watch the video I sincerely doubt there was intent which imo is what defines whether a hit was dirty or not. If I saw him launch himself at keller helmet first that would be dirty.
As is usual for him, he zeroes in on the knee area with his helmet. He could go mid thigh, or just do a face up wrap up tackle.
I was thinking the exact same thing. How does Omar have a job? Even if it meant something, it's really worded in poor taste.
I thought the same thing. Just Omar Kelly being the usual drama queen. What's next.....Kellers seat on plane home empty?
Word travels fast in the NFL if he continues with those helmet to lower leg shots. Might be legal tackle but players love their knees and careers.
Martin... I dunno. I was watching from a stream tonight, so ill withhold judgement until I get to watch it on NFLN tomorrow afternoon, but I saw quite a bit of help being given to Martin. Whether it was chips from backs and TE's, or help from the LG... Again, watched from a stream, I need to see it again tomorrow from a better source, and we'll go from there. I agree he's held his own, but it looks like he's getting alot of help, which of course leaves us a bit vulnerable on the right side, which is where we got beat badly tonight early.
I didn't really pay particular attention on him, but I saw a couple of plays where he was 1v1 and did his job. Don't know about his overall game, or the help he was getting, or even who he was facing for that matter. He wasn't noticeable tonight, which has to be a positive, if anything.
This is the 2nd game I've watched on nfl.com and the quality both times has been piss poor. From a distance I often cannot even read the player numbers. I get one yellow bar 90% of the time. It does increase to 2 bars sometimes, but never better than that.
Yep, and he went down easy on a screen, where if he had fought through the one arm leg tackle, he would have been off...
I love DT when he runs like he did tonight. But his constant problem is running upright and in tight spaces he gets stuffed. It's good to have Miller for those situations. I am high on Jonas Gray, he provides kinda best of both Miller and Thomas, has not had a bad game.
Seconded all the above. Nat and Bob really have to stop the pregame tailgating. Yeah, the TV sounded like a mountain lion banging a tape recorder, and it sounded like Agler was the PA announcer at reliant. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 2
Guessing over 100. But it's not realistic anyways. No way Tannehill goes a season with zero INTs. If he did, and had over 30 TDs I would be elated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Calculated it. It's a 109 QBR. But I'd be happy if he posted an 88 QBR. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Sorry if this is late, but I had the same problem. Try unchecking "Best Available" quality and manually moving up to 4500 KBPS. Fixed it for me.
