Great game for the Phins depthwise. Philbin and the coaches should be very pleased. with the overall effort and progress. It was disappointing to score only 3 while having 3 possessions in the first quarter.
I didn't see a guy disinterested. I saw a guy who couldn't disengage but did a good job at providing pressure. His arms are huge.
I am a Georgia grad, but I can't defend Ellerbe. Simply can't. And for that matter, not even Jones. Thought Fogg probably didn't do much to stay beyond the first cuts after that last drive. Might land on a practice squad. Very disappointed in Wilson on the play where Evans fumbled. You can not hit a guy that high. No excuse there.
And did I forget Dallas Thomas. How good is McCoy and how bad is Thomas. McCoy is a great player, but what a game for Thomas to fall apart. Bad enough that I would see a window for Smith or Turner.
Fede, McCain, Tripp, and Anthony Johnson should make this roster. However, should doesn't mean they will.
