I love Brock Osweiler that dude has more passion than tannehill and will only get better, unbeliveable game
So credit where credit is due. Thank you Gase for not abandoning the run , thought you could run more but whatever. Credit defense again for all the turnovers. Gore is a beast and Wilson makes you forget Landry. Run more though!!!
I'll take the W any way I can get it. Don't worry about that fumble Drake, but DON"T do that again! Oh....And Brock...I'll never say another bad thing about you again.
Wow! What a game. Fantastic character shown by the guys to stay in the game and finally win. Yeah, we had a bit of luck, but you always need luck to win. Well done to all concerned.
Pretty sure Gore got pulled he looked slightly hobbled his final run and was really gassed during the time out before the goal line fumble.
Gotta give it up to Osweiler. Even though Wilson and Gore really made that game, Osweiler didn’t look shaken up. Maybe, just maybe, that’s what Tannehill needs in order to put him on notice. After this game, I would not be opposed to a QB controversy if Tannehill comes back and poops the bed.
Yes but what about before OT, he would have gotten us in field goal range to win the game before OT. Instead they were forcing it to Wilson and we went 3 and out. Either way a win is a win, I'm not upset.
If RT can take anything away from Osweiler’s play this game is I hope he realizes that sometimes it’s best to just throw the ball away and live to make another play.
I'll give Brock his due. Granted, the offense could've done without his two thrown interceptions and his early over-reliance on Amendola and O'Leary, but he played solid. I'm not gonna anoint him the starter. But I'm not going to be too worried if Ryan Tannehill is out again. With that said, Albert Wilson and Frank Gore, and Jason Sanders deserves the game balls for today.
I'm so glad I was driving home from an event this weekend and didn't get to watch the game. Sure heart attack. Way to pull out the win, boys!
My hope is that I make Key’s, Key to the game. It could be a defining moment, for me, this Sunday. I hope a trophy comes with it. ;-)
Was definitely PI on Drake ... and they staring right at him. Refs just blow , need a “fact checker” reviewing each call up in a booth to correct these calls. It’s terrible.
I really thought our OL would be destroyed by the Bears DL. That was the key to Brock looking fairly good today (if a two INT game can be called 'good'). That and getting the ball to some playmakers and letting them do the heavy lifting. It made for an exiting game with some crazy swings.
Boy, Gase was really pissed in the post-game presser when the media kept asking about Tanny’s shoulder: “I don’t know. I’m tired of talking about that guy. Go ask him. It’s for us to know.....” It was really....odd. Seemed like he was just mentally drained.
I watched. I saw a QB that didn't use his oline as an excuse for playing like s##t. I saw a QB that made a quick decision. If that was our $100 mil man out there today, the Bears would have had 20 sacks. Bears fans are in shock, lol. So am I.
I disagree with that. When Tannehill has had time this season, he made plays. He also made some great throws with people in his face, more so than not. We will see moving forward. Brock has nothing to lose, so the mindset is different. This might be the fire that lights up Tanny’s game moving forward. It was, for all intensive purposes, a much more “complete” offense than in games past. O-line deserves all of the credit keeping a very dangerous Bears D-line at bay for most of the game. Brock looked like a natural leader, which Tannehill is not. Going to be very interesting moving forward. If the O-line can continue with games like this, Tanny should be fine. If not, I’m cool with Osweiler, but Osweiler still had a couple of Osweiler moments.
I wonder if we can trade Tannehill for anything. We can just ride with bOssweiler until we draft a QB and he's ready to take over the reigns.
I disagree. The oline didn't change. The QB did. There was pressure. This time there was a smart enough QB there to get rid of the ball.
Since I had to listen to the game on the radio, it's hard for me to tell if BO stunk it up or not. It could have been the playmakers around him, but from what I gather, to his credit BO was poised in the pocket, which is something RT hasn't been lately. Something that might have been to BOs advantage was that the Bears prepared for RT. If BO has to go next week, it will be interesting to see how he does when the defense gets to prepare for him. I just hope the game is on TV. It's hard to get a feel for the team listening to Joe Rose and Griese.
For $100 mil, I hope so. Brock is making less than $1 mil and the offense had its best game of the year.
I can see that. Osweiler did get rid of the ball where Tanny might have held onto it a bit. The O-line undoubtedly played much better today. That’s really not an opinion.
