at 4pm Eastern vs 1pm Eastern (the usual start time for our Phins). Now, I'm wondering if Sparano had the troops go as far as practicing 3 hours later than they normally do all week to "combat" the effects of the 3 hour time difference? If our game vs the Jets is moved to Sunday night, shouldn't we also move practice back the same amount of hours? (we haven't played a night game all regular season). We've heard all season about west coast teams struggling when they play on the road vs east coast opponents, and vice versa (the 49ers were the FIRST team all season to win under these conditions this passed Sunday over our beloved Bills). There is something to the internal body clock theory whereby your body is just not accustomed to playing at these different times. So, Miami is generally a 1pm team. Anyone else think we should have practiced 3 hours later this week?
The Sunday night game is still TBD. The Dolphins/Jets could be bounced to that spot. There isn't a Monday night game in week 17. I would gather that is why you are thinking no flex.
I think they had it this late so that it would be colder and darker in Buffalo, thus giving a more "home field" advantage to the Bills. But I've been wrong before.
