A weakness of Tanny's game is his lack of lateral mobility. Like you said, he's more of a straight line runner.

Well let's not get carried away here. In the context of athletic QBs his lateral quickness isn't all that great. I wouldn't call it a weakness, but more accurately it's not a strength.

DJ, I don't think anyone disagreed with you on needing Tanny to do stuff with his legs. I think most felt you wanted him to be Russell Wilson, which he can never be. We all want him to run it instead of taking a sack, if possible.

Yeah, he's not very quick laterally, like say, Wilson, which is why I've never been in support of using Tannehill like Wilson.

I never said I wanted him to be Wilson, I'm not stupid.

I've always said he doesn't understand the concept of how to attack a defense with his entire skill set..he's starting to get a little better, but as we can see, its not enough relative to the skill set..not if you want to convert first downs, keep you defense off the field, and win championships.

it hasnt clicked yet, still waiting..hopefully he's watching Steve young videos.

Wilson isn't used like anything, he does what he needs to do..
