You dont really draft "I need a starter at X" in round 7. Lucky if they make a team. Special teams.

7th round nothing... gaskin is a damn good football player and will be effective at this level... i watched a lot of college football on saturdays, this kid has been one of my favorites

 

Cox will be a fan favorite. Count it.

Wait what??? We got Miles Flippin Gaskin!!! For a 6th round pick???

Thats stealin! Gaskin was DOMINANT in college. Took over games when needed. 1200 yds average over his 4 yr career, team captain, HUGE part of WA success the last three years. I watched almost every game of his, he is a baller folks.

Seriously... He has Kimara, Kareem Hunt, Tarik Cohen and yes James White skills. I love Kenyan Drake, but Gaskin is a level up. He will be immediate upgrade in the kick return game too.

I'm giddy I tell you, flippin stoked!!!

 

I am so very happy we have a FB on the roster. I like it even better that he can play some TE too so opposing Ds won’t know if we’re going to be in pro-set or 2 TE formation just by looking at the personnel. Very NE kind of thing to do.

 

With respect to what round it is, I am not going to lie, we murdered the back half of that draft. I think Van Ginkel, Haskins and Cox will all contribute in some way next year. To say that for a 5th and 7th rounders, its pretty nice.

 

If I mention it was a 7th rounder, will you explode Puka :smile:
