At Alabama-Birmingham, QB Joe Webb, who has been projected as a WR in the NFL, put up some outstanding numbers at the Blazers pro day. The 6-3, 226-pound Webb reportedly ran the 40 in the mid-4.4 range while recording figures of 42.5 in the VL and 11.5 inches in the BJ (both of which would have been the top figure among wideouts at the combine); same for his 21 reps in the bench press, while Webb also ran under 4.0 seconds in the short shuttle which again would have been tops at the combine.
KSU FB/TE/WR Jameson Konz would have gone unnoticed as the Browns were the only team in attendance. The 6-3, 235-pound Konz was timed in the low-to-mid 4.4s in the 40, while posting a 46VL, which would have the top figure for any position at the combine, along with a BJ of 10-8. For the record, Konz, who actually started his KSU career as a LB had 21 receptions this past fall.
46 INCH VERTICLE LEAP IS INCREDIBLE
Maybe not for us but incredible athletes -

Fletcher's stats are on par with TCU's Jerry Hughs and I think these 2 were the best DE in the Moutain West over the last 3 years. It boogled my mind why John was not invited to the combine. But then I am bias in that he was on my Wyoming Cowboys and I got to see him play all the time.

Let me add this about Fletcher:

The Colts also signed Devon Moore too last month. I hope Fletcher gets a chance in the NFL too and if he can't catch on go to the CFL. And to add to his write up Both John and Mitch played in the 3-4 and 4-3 as Wyoming has run them both sceams over the last 4 years.
