Fantastic win by MS State against Auburn. Some questionable calls both ways, but State is being really dominant this season. Now for Arkansas to whip some Bama ***. ;-)
Too bad that dominance ends after one season for them and Ole Miss. They needed 2-3 years until some teams lost to the NFL and some players to stick around to be this dominant. Enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

Mississippi football state wide is rolling, fun to see.....on pace for one heck of an Egg Bowl. the worst calls of the weekend were in the Baylor comeback over TCU....horrible no-calls and then calls on identical plays both benefiting Baylor.

Every week in the SEC West is a playoff week. The combined record of the SEC West teams right now is 50-16. Of those 16 losses, 15 have been to other SEC West Teams. The only other loss is Arkansas to Georgia.

I just found out yesterday, there was a bowl game in the Marlin Stadium on Dec 22 last year. The Miami Beach Bowl. I had no idea they could fit a football field in there. I would have loved to see how it looked in person. The whole game is on Youtube if anyone wants to gander.
It was IMO one of the best bowl games of the year. Very fun to watch. Great way to start the Miami Beach Bowl which will be played annually, but it ended ugly with a brawl.

Yeah, that's not right. However, the article said they were being up front with him. MAYBE they told him all along, if we get so and so, you're out. No idea, obviously pure speculation. It is that kind of business. Sounds like UT is really pulling in a good (at least huge) class. Kicking out a 4* DE, has to be pretty solid too! Bet he ends up at another SEC school, just so he gets to play Tenn....
This happens all the time, all the time... Four months ago Dan Mullen of Mississippi State pulled away a scolarship offer from a three star recruit quarterback, Chase something. virgil i think. Anyways, there are a limited amount of those to give and if they feel they can get a player they really like that needs help on theyre going to do it. Thats the way it is.
Pulling a scholarship at any point from a recruit for reasons the recruit can't help is bad form. Doing it this close to signing day is pathetic. That's just my opinion. Marques Ford committed to Rutgers.
You have to be impressed with Western Michigan, continueing their success from last year and competing against Michigan State.
