longer than some other's?, the kid has one his division title, a playoff appearance, and is now leading the top team in the NFC, in his 3rd year...
Have to give Smith some credit, he showed some spark by not letting Singletary pull him and responding with a TD drive.
I disagree about that. Vick was never as good as hyped, and those Falcons teams weren’t as bad as they were made out to be. In an effort to prop Vick up, everyone in the country threw the Falcons under the bus. He’s admitted as much. Check out the interview he gave to Jim Mora. There’s no reason to start the Kolb era when he’s playing that badly and Vick is playing that well. I see them keeping both, and Kolb walking when his contract is up.
Fellas, we cannot hide it, Ginn is beasting on ST tonight, he has over 100yds on the last two kick offs.
Ted Ginn is beasting on special teams. Kind of funny that Patrick Cobb beat him out for the return duties and Bess beat him out on punt returning... Is our coaching staff that glib?
yup, ginn gonna only get better as his body continues to fill out....I wanted us to draft him, but iam also on the record to cut him when we did..but if he was our 4th receiver and returner I would be happy at this moment...maybe a mistake, we'll see how life plays out.
Eagles outsmart themselves. Teddy Ginn is up... EDIT: Runs out of bounds with what looked like some room to run.
Holy crap what a game! If Alex Smith can pull this off after the way the crowd treating him, it will be amazing.
The play wasn't dead when Crabtree hit the Eagles defender who caught the int. He fell down but wasn't touched. It was a fumble and the refs whistled it dead.
Yes, he keeps Ginn and tells him “I made sure the Dolphins traded you to the 49ers because I was planning all along to come here.” He can have Bonamego, Dorrell, and Henning. As far as I’m concerned, our next OC should be David Lee or James Saxon, probably Lee. Sign Pennington to be the next QB coach. Shake the trees to find a good WR coach. 2011 Dolphins set. He’s pretty much confirmed he’s on the market. The only problem I have is that we’d still be paying him. San Fran looks like an obvious destination. He might like the Carolina area more, and Richardson might be able to negotiate his price down by pointing out the fact that we’re still paying him. And who knows, maybe the Bengals will open up.
no, I dont believe it.... why would he do this, noone is messin with him here, he has carte blanche, and his guys are here, and he lives here, and hes an old fart for christs sake, and he didnt finish the job the POS... No way, its all bs rumor and talk out of context.
I hate to break it to you, but… Parcells: “I’m not a sit-around-the-fireplace guy.” He’s leaving for another team. Might take a year to get there, but he’s doing it. I’m going to go ahead and say the over/under on the amount of coaches and administrators he steals from us is 3, and I’m taking the over. Brian Gaine from the front office, Karl Dorrell, Evan Marcus, and Todd Bowles. Gaine will be his next GM, and probably Bowles will be his next head coach.
Parcells gives loyalty to no one. So you expect him to go somewhere, and you'd be shocked if he doesn't. He did this thang here, he's turned us around. Are we perfect, no. But we're better. And we're respectable. Stop being greedy and let the man go somewhere else and help out another franchise, as long as he doesn't poach ours dry.
Im just curious about what everyone is seeing when they say Matt Ryan is overrated. He had a slight regression in year two but if Henne hasn't even had Ryaan's year one or two and we're talking about how the Dolphins have found someone who can finally wear Dan Marino's shoes. He's 23 and 11 as a starter. He's had an astronomically better start than most of the elite QBs except maybe Rodgers and Rivers who both got to sit for at least 2 years before starting a football game. He started on a team that was picked the worst in the NFL, and that was after WE went 1-15. Yes they were seen as worse than us, even though we were a Greg Camarillo away from 0-16. So what exactly is it, that prevents him from being elite while a Drew Brees who had a terrible 3 years, is short, and not strong arm is the league best?
I think it was Camarillo that got flagged for the same thing. Can't remember who it was against. (Pats maybe?)
Titans. In overtime. I'm not one to ***** about bad calls but that was brutal. The guy was starting to get back up and run when Camarillo hit him. Lost us the game.
