...Im a longtime Carlin fan, I think he has aged like fine wine.....just saw his new HBO stand up and it just very well may be his best.
Anyone else watched it?

I thought the opposite, I thought his earlier work was a lot funnier, while this current one had funny parts, he use to have me laughing from begining to end....just my opinon.
-
Im sure its just me not seeing all that much of his pre 1990 work....I have only saw a few and they werent bad, I dont think Carlin could do a "bad" act.

I saw it. I thought it was pretty funny. The whole thing about how getting old has its perks was pretty good. How he can: Leave events anytime he wants if hes "tired", **** his pants if he wants, etc. The each religion has a diff hat thing too was good.
I just think the whole, "It's bull**** and it's bad for you" line is pretty good. -
His 1982 performance at Carnegie Hall was one of the funniest stand up routines I have ever seen.

My fav. line..."you lost Bobby.....your a loser Bobby!!" -
his work did suffer after his wife passed, IMO

You and me both!! :hi5:

I tried to watch it.
After listening to about 12 minutes of it I was disgusted with the overusage of foulness, and the sacreligiouness of it, and turned it off.
