I thought the opposite, I thought his earlier work was a lot funnier, while this current one had funny parts, he use to have me laughing from begining to end....just my opinon.

 

I saw it. I thought it was pretty funny. The whole thing about how getting old has its perks was pretty good. How he can: Leave events anytime he wants if hes "tired", **** his pants if he wants, etc. The each religion has a diff hat thing too was good.

I just think the whole, "It's bull**** and it's bad for you" line is pretty good.

 

His 1982 performance at Carnegie Hall was one of the funniest stand up routines I have ever seen.

 

haha yea that was good too. i really agree with a lot of what he says. our society does baby people and is too "nice" a lot of the time. then again Im not very PC myself so obviously i feel that way.

 

his work did suffer after his wife passed, IMO

 

I tried to watch it.
After listening to about 12 minutes of it I was disgusted with the overusage of foulness, and the sacreligiouness of it, and turned it off.

 

You must've turned off a lot of his specials.

This is one of my favorite parts of his stand-up - it's some of his less explicit stuff (with the occasional bad word) - his take on the process of flights, airplanes, etc.
