Geremy Davis, WR, UConn

The depth at WR in the sixth/seventh/UDFA is really something special. Especially if you are looking for a WR with size, with DeVante Davis, Dezmin Lewis, and Darren Waller all presenting huge targets. However, my favorite prospect of the group is UConn's Geremy Davis. He might be high on Miami's board if they are, in fact, prioritizing "hands" and "body control". Oh, and that whole "team captain" thing, too.

His hands are remarkable, perhaps the best on the entire third day. He had ZERO drops last year. Also, how he does it is just as impressive, excelling in contested catches and high-pointing the ball. He has great length due to his 32 1/4" arms. He is a big, powerful target that outmuscled weaker completion. (He was #1 at the Combine with 23 reps on the bench.)

He was one of the pleasant surprises at the Combine, also notching #3 60-yard shuttle, #6 three cone drill, and #8 broad jump, amongst WRs. His playing speed is questionable, as he outmuscled weaker competition instead of gaining separation through precision. (This video both teams look in slow motion at times, so he may need a period of adjustment at the next level.) However, I think his Combine performances elevated some of this concerns, plus he recently ran a 4.47 forty at his pro day.

He's a smart and well-spoken, much more of a man than a kid. And he's pretty easy on the eyes (but I'm sure the body-experts here can gush better than I can):

So if you are looking for a late round WR with a big body, and whose best assets are his hands and body control, Geremy Davis is going to be a steal for somebody.
