So the Packers managed to bring down the streaking Patriots  and soon enough it'll be our turn again, this time in sunny Foxborough.
There are a good few factors to consider in going up against a versatile team which seems to be night and day different to the one we faced (and beat down) in the season opener.
On offense the Sith have had dynamic contributions, as and when necessary, from their receivers, running backs and of course Gronk. Defensively the Patriots have been solid and we'll have Wilfork and Revis to contend with; although I think it's the strategy and coaching of Belichick that is the decisive factor in making the Pats as good as they are.
The Dolphins are quite banged up at this point and perhaps the biggest loss will be Albert on the left-side. (Hopefully Finnegan, Taylor and Clay will be up and running healthy by then, if not vs. the Ravens).
So, lots to look at but to start with but for now, there an article at FanSided that caught my eye. It's a very short piece about a Tweet from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix about how he never wants to hit Gronk high, ever again.
Gronk is a bit of a monster and Grimes and Finnegan might struggle to bring him down if they can't break up the pass. What do you think - put Jordan on him the whole game, try to shut him down as far as humanly possible?

not even going to think about the Pats game.
1) the biggest game in December is this weekend vs Baltimore. we lost to them and I guarantee we're out of the playoffs
2) we will lose to New England, so point #1 is even more important. If we were healthy (like the patsies are right now) I'd feel better about our chances in New England, but we're not. -
-
If we lose to Baltimore, season is over. Honestly don't care about the Pats game right now. Good chance it will be meaningless.
-
Some weird ideas about "meaningless" going around.
If we were to lose to Baltimore but beat New England we would still be 10-6, we would have swept the Pats, hopefully the Jets and split with the Bills. How would that not have meaning?
Even if we don't win, it's still a game against the lead divisional rival who also happens to be one of the best teams in the NFL. How can it not have meaning? -
unluckyluciano likes this.

And Aaron Dobson is out for the year. He's on IR for a hamstring injury suffered in the game against the Packers.
-
What I don't like is the string of running backs we see in New England right now maybe it's a good thing the Jets did what they did so the team can get serious about figuring out the problems stopping the run now. It could be a long day. -
One thing ill have my eye on though is how we stop their run game. -
Why is this game at 1pm and jets-titans at 415? They should've swapped the two so more could watch MIA-NE later.
I assume its too late to do that now?
