The New Yawk Football Giants are proud to announce the hiring of new Offensive Coordinator, Tom Clements. He replaces Kevin Gilbride who had been with the club for seven seasons.
Clements will hold the coordinator for the second time in the NFL. He comes over to the Giants after doing some of his best work with the Green Bay Packers as their Quarterbacks coach. He had prior experience as a Quarterbacks Coach with Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Kansas City in the NFL as well Notre Dame on the college level. The Giants look for him to install a more quarterback friendly offense then his predecessor, Kevin Gilbride, had in place. Clements previously held the offensive coordinator position in Buffalo during the 2004-2005 season where he ran a run heavy offense. The Giants will look to go back to their roots and reinstall the type of offense that has been successful for them in the past.
The organization is excited to bring Clements on to the staff as he has been around the game of football for 18 years as a coach and 30 total including his playing career. :hi5:
