    "Instead, Ginn just continued his slow walk back toward the scrimmage line. The rest of the receivers continued their reps around him as Ginn never even broke into a trot for the remainder of the 25-yard trip. "

    If I was coaching the team I would tell him to knock it off or leave the field.

    This guys gonna be on everyone's radar until he puts up or someone else screws up. I hope all this negative attention pisses him off and he makes everyone that made fun of him look like haters. :dunno:

    I heard he started his own Cell Phone company, but it wasn't doing well. Too many dropped calls. :chuckle:

    lol. but you're missing the bigger picture here. The writer doesnt focus on Ginn catching the post. Thats not what makes a successful receiver. Nor a good 40 time, nor good blocking. No what makes a good receiver is running back to the huddle. Apparently Ginn has a very poor huddle time. Must have been missed at the combine
    :lol:

    Not so.

    NFL practices are to be run crisply and with a sense of urgency. If a guy is dogging it, it is noticeable. Was the reporting of Brandon Marshall "typical media pot-stirring"?

    This is unacceptable. Ginn has world class speed. He's wasting his god given talent by slowly walking back to the line. Who cares if he got there in time for his next rep? He didn't run there, so he's obviously a head case!

    I get your point, but think about it:

    -Ginn dropped 2 TDs vs Indy;
    -Ginn caused the pick-6 in the Saints game;
    -Ginn dropped the ball on the potential game-winning drive;
    -Ginn has been relegated to hanging with the inactives and practice squad guys during practice.

    It is that much of a stretch to think that he's sulking? Really.

    its not a stretch to think he might be sulking, it is a stretch to try to use him not trotting back as evidence of such.

    no i acknowledge its a possibility. given his history though I would say at the moment it is not very likely that his walking back to the huddle is evidence of him sulking.

    They say blogs killed sports writing. I say blogs eliminated most of the crappy sports writers. It's natural selection. Like a weak Wildebeast getting mauled by a Cheetah.

    I can't wait until the kickoff against the Jets so all this s*** stops.

    I'll bet that when he gets on the field during the game he runs back to the huddle fast.

    I'm as p#ssed at and disgusted with Ginn as the next guy. My last five or so posts have been *****ing about Ginn. But I say, to myself included: enough already. We have a JETS!!! G_d dammit, game coming up, and all we can talk about is this kid!

    We have the opportunity to HUMILIATE these bastards until the playoffs.

    I hope he catches two or three more more like the one in last game and shuts all of us up.

    Dan Henning:

    "Ted Ginn had a game he's not happy with, and we're not happy with. But just like my children, I'm not always happy with my children, but I love my children. I'm going to support my children," Henning said. "These [receivers] are what we have. [Ginn] won the [starting] job. He came out of camp as one of the top four [receivers]. I believe he's one of the top four. We're going to continue to use Ted Ginn the way we think is best to use him to help this football team."

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/sports/miamidolphinsweblog

    F'ing BRAVO. This is not the Wanny or Saban or Cam Cameron administration. In other words (that Coach Henning is too professional to say): Training camp is over. The trade deadline has passed. Our receivers are who they are. Ginn is what he is. Shut the f*** up and let the damn kid play. He may learn something. We'll worry about whether he's an irretrievable bust after all the games have been played.

    If the Jets catch us looking BACK I'll puke all over 27th Avenue.

    Excellent Post!!! Time to get past the drops, the pick-6/fumble/touchdown, the Camarillo penalty, and the Fasano drop.

    Let's kill the jets. Its Thursday already, dammit. Thanks for the wake-up call CDZ!!!

    You guys focus on one bad week. The week before, Ginn caught two crucial passes, and during the week Sparano spoke of Henne just throwing it out there and having Ginn run it down. All was well.

    He had one bad week. Lets' just play.

    I put this in the pot stirring category. While it's possible that Ginn could be sulking there are many other possible reasons for him not running back to the line.

    This has nothing to do with the "media stirring the pot".............it is simply the media reporting what was seen. Body language in sports is everything and fans know it. And the fact that Ginn is seriously becoming disliked because of his inconsistent and soft play, yet he isn't hustling or working to get better. He's just dragging his feet.

    There is no report that he wasn't hustling during the play. In fact, he made the catch. All we know is that he didn't run back to the line right away. He could of tweaked an ankle or a hammy or whatever. Jumping to the conclusion that he was sulking b/c he didn't look like he was in good spirits for a 20 second period between reps is stirring the pot.

    I think you're jumping to a conclusion based on very little information. This is one opinion through one man's eyes. If there were video to accompany it, we could make a more informed decision.

    Ginn may or may not have been dogging it, but he DID catch the pass, so it seems a reach that he was hanging his head afterward.

    Besides, you've read the Training Camp reports. How often does one writer say a player looked great in practice while another says they were terrible?

    The reporter saw Ginn with his own eyes and read his body language, and body language tells a lot. You didn't see Ginn's body language. So arent you "stirring the pot" that the reporter is "stirring the pot"?:up:

    So you think that one catch completely cleared his mind of all that has happened so far as a dolphin and he's not hanging his head? I dont think its fair that those who werent at the practice are claiming the reporting is "making something out of nothing". I mean, at the end of the day, he was there and we weren't. And with all that has happened lately, i wouldnt be surprised if Ginn really WAS sulking.

    Giving the local media's history ...

    All their doing is jumping to a conclusion and as is often the case with the local media, it's a negative one. I'm just refusing to buy into it without more facts.

    Eye of the beholder. If the reporter was looking to find something negative in Ginn (which you clearly are), then he'll find something negative in Ginn even if it's not true and/or based on his own assumptions/opinion.
