Holmes....is on a better team with, like you stated, a good QB and consitancy.....hopefully Ginn blooms into a really good wr in the very near future!!!

 

I think he will do just that. He's made great strides this season and can only get better.

I haven't taken the time to look yet but I would also like to see a comparison of their WR production over the final 8 games. Cam had Ginn practically invisible for the first part of the season.

 

they mean nothing.. we stunk at qb and ST.. and neither was the fault of Ginn.

 

And how was our QB going to get Ginn the ball deep, if the OL couldnt keep him standing up?

its a good comparison considering both came out of OSU and both do returns. There was alot of speculation that teams passed on Holmes because Ginn was so much more amazing in film study.

My take, just like cnc said . . . we had bad QB play and horrible ST play . . . an OLine that requires us to get rid of the ball quicker than normal and a coach who seemingly didn't wanna chance the long ball. Holmes played for a MUCH better team with better coaching as well.

In conclusion, Holmes had the better rookie season . . .but I still wouldn't want him over Ginn, as I think Ginn is still the better player.
