I won't say he can't ever be a number 1 receiver, I don't believe he can do it here though. I think he got screwed the day we drafted him, I think we screwed him up even more when we traded Chris Chambers, he has had pretty much no mentor no real veteran to come in and show him the ropes. Most WR's take 3 years to really come into their own, and most spend time with a veteran learning the ropes. There are the few that come in and just blow it up, Randy Moss, but even Moss had Chris Carter in his ear and helping him out. I hope that the coaching staff find more ways to use him, even if its putting him in the backfield or in the slot, his speed is needed and I don't think you can argue that. The biggest disapointment though is this front office has not helped our receivers out at all. Hard to believe how young this group is.
