American shock jock Howard Stern will create his biggest outrage yet – by auctioning off a girl’s virginity on his radio show. The 22-year-old brunette, who is using the pseudonym of NATALIE DYLAN “for safety reasons,” says the money will pay for her college tuition. She was introduced to Howard by the owner of a brothel in Nevada, one of two US States where prostitution is legal. The winner of the auction will get to consummate the relationship at the brothel, where the student’s sister already works. Since its legal in Nevada, outside of the RADIO SHOCK JOCK value, I dont have a problem with this. She is simply announcing and promoting why she is seeking compensation for sex. No biggie!

I would imagine that it's going to cost at least $20,000 to get a masters. In Nevada going to the brothel will cost you about $300-$400 for standard stuff. I would imagine that anything more unique would cost considerably more. And while a virgin at a brothel is probably very unique it still shocks me that someone would pay that much for a lay. I admit though that I'm cheap so even the $300 bucks would bother me.

whats ****ed up is Howard Stern has nothing to do with this... i heard him talking about it yesterday... the Brothel owner told him about this virginity auction, and Howard thought it would make for an interesting interview to see if its legit, why shes doing it, etc etc... so the Brothel owner was going around telling newspapers that Howard is a part of it and all that... so howards pissed and most likely they wont even be on his show... i know this has nothing to really do with anything... but i thought it was funny that the first time i hear howard in ages (i borrowed my GFs car yesterday who has sirius) and this was what he was talking about, and now i see it here

A couple of things, Howard Stern has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. He is not in business with her and is not taking offers for her. He simply interviewed her yesterday on the air. The article is extremely misleading. She is in business with Dennis Hoff, the owner of the Bunny Ranch. She got the idea because a few years ago she heard of a Peruvian girl who auctioned off her virginity and received 1.2 million for it. Her offers have already hit $50,000, so she will certainly be getting her money for school...and then some. Even when Hoff takes half.
Another problem this girl probably cannot forsee (or maybe she can and doesn't care) is whatever school she attends people WILL find out about this. She'll be hounded about it every day she goes to class I would assume (prolly by the same fat kid with the Babylon 5 T-shirt) Well, theres always the University of Phoenix.

On the Stern show she said that she had always wanted it to be "special" and all that and none of her previous experiences cut the mustard. I always got the impression girls for their 1st time wanted it to be with someone they like. Its kinda weird for her wanting her first time to be with a stranger.
I think seeing that Peruvian girl get $1.2 mill might have had a lot to do with her changing her mind about it being special and with her thinking that a doing a stranger wouldn't be all that bad. Also the fact that her sister works as a prostitute probably also helped convince her that the stranger thing wasn't all that bad.
