I am sorry but I would rather prefer Smith by a long shot. He fits our new WCO, Moore and Garrard have to learn it now, and who knows how long it will take them? What receivers did Smith have to throw to last year? Ginn? Sure he had Davis but from what I read in these forums teams need a #1 receiver. We do not have one, neither did he last year. 49ers have a great defense, we have a pretty solid defense as well. A solid running back in Bush, and the o-line in the 49ers allowed more sacks last season then we did. Smith signing would be 100x better then Garrard. SO we pay him 8 mil, good abs do not come cheap.

There comes a point where there arent many options left. I think Smith would not have been worth the money and at this point, we arent competing anyway. I'm withholding judgement until after the draft but if you thought once Marshall is gone and Manning was out of the question that the Fins would be contenders, you'd be wrong...
