Just some quick thoughts and would love to see your comments. 1. I thought it was a great game yesterday and by all accounts, the Dolphins should have won that game. I don't think many of you follow the Panthers closely but if someone does, they will know that we have been on the other side games like this many times over the past two years. When I say I know how you felt at the end of the game, believe me I do. It sucks. 2. Similar to what happened yesterday, Carolina receivers have dropped crucial passes in games that seemed to have cost us a win. I guess the big difference is that I think the cost of all those receivers combined does not = 60 million dollars. Not trying to troll but I do think Mike Wallace, while talented and can expose and burn secondaries (see game film from yesterday) but he is vastly overpaid. 3. Tannehill looked very good yesterday and I think he can take you guys to the next level. He seems to be an intelligent qb and was very good with his decisions yesterday. I think 9 times out of 10 that pick he threw would have just fallen incomplete. The tip drill helped the Panthers out. 4. The Dolphins are missing 40% (2 of 5) of their starting offensive line and really made the Panther pass rush look pedestrian. 5. I think the coaching staff deserves a lot of credit. With all the attention and invasive situations going on down there, they have been able to keep the team together and install some very, very good game plans. All in all I think despite a couple setbacks the Dolphins are still not out of the play off picture and IMO is a team on the rise. I am very glad we don't have to play you until 2017. Best of luck for the rest of the year.
