Goodell: Lynch did not violate personal conduct policy Associated Press NFL.com PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell won't discipline Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch for a hit-and-run accident that left a woman injured. Lynch lost his license last month after he pleaded guilty to a traffic violation. He was driving his 2008 Porsche Cayenne SUV about 3:30 a.m. on May 31 when he hit a 27-year-old Ontario woman and kept going. He could have faced criminal charges but reached a plea deal with prosecutors. The woman suffered a bruised hip and a cut to her thigh that required seven stitches. Speaking at Bills training camp, Goodell says since Lynch pleaded guilty to a traffic violation, there was no violation of the league's personal conduct policy. Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press
weak......... a hit and run got settled out of court for $$$...and he's off scott free? a hit and run at 3:30AM? no penalty at all? sammy morris gets a 4 game suspension for taking prescription strength ibuprofen, and lynch gets nada. wow.
Alen, had the woman been more seriously injured, there would've been harsher consequences, I believe.
She still was injured though. She suffered seven stitches in her leg and another injury that I can't recall. I think when you put others in harm and you do harm to another(no matter how serious it is), you should be disciplined for it.
He's very very lucky that he didnt kill this woman. Then again Ray Lewis was an accomplice to a murder and he's still playing.
