From the Herald/Armando- How freaking exciting is this? Between Omar saying that Tannehill really is 100% and Parker owning mini-camp....plus their six TD explosion against our defense last Thursday....I am officially getting excited.
''• And finally, I was treated Thursday to a close-up view of one the best catches I ever seen in person, DeVante Parker pulling down an end-of-practice pass from Ryan Tannehill, somehow catching the ball with one hand and keeping his feet in bounds despite being devoured with excellent coverage by cornerback Byron Maxwell. The bubble literally erupted in cheers and Parker, showing the swagger he had been lacking his first two seasons, let Maxwell know face-to-face how pleased he was with the catch. If this is the new DeVante Parker, I want to see more of it.'' kid sometimes makes the impossible play..
I don't want to invest my emotions in this. The goal would be for him, Rashad Jones, Julius Thomas, Tannehill and Pouncey to end camp and not start on the PUP
While I have difficulty trusting Parker yet, it's clear that we have a ton of talent at WR. The team has to trust it's evaluations and see which guys develop. I doubt it but hopefully we can avoid too many of those, "we need to sign _____ WR!" threads overtime some name gets cut.
I know this was in just shorts and helmets, but did you see that coverage? The length of the pass? Parker was covered like a jimmy hat and STILL pulled in a deep pass from Tannehill!!! Freaking AWESOME!!!!
Nice. I'm starting to get excited about him. Let's not save money on Landry though. He deserves his pay day.
