FFIC put me in mind of the great Guitarist I’ve enjoyed over the years so I wanted to name just a few that “Rocked My World.” I hope you all enjoy; there are others but these stick out in my mind. i'm a big fan of chet myself while im a little young for his day and age i got heavy doses of him when i first started learning the guitar. im also a big fan of robert johnson but all of those guitarist are excellent.
Hey, guitar groupies. You should really pick up this classic (1975) recording by Chet and Les. It is FANTASTIC.
Never let it be said that While Les is my #1 man Chet is 1A. I didn't put him up here because I talked about him in FFIC's thread. In point of fact Chet was one of the headliners at my first concert back in the 50's along with Holly, and Big Bopper in Daytona Beach. Boy, what memories, thanks Doc.
The bass player in the Eddie Van Halen clip looks like the 5th member of KISS, Bob Kulick. Ed is my favorite guitar player. He is the main reason I picked up a guitar and tried to play it. I love how he can be so creative and innovative but still rock pretty hard with great riffs and great solos. If you can turn on Van Halen I for the first time and not be blown away I don't know how you can call yourself a rock/hard rock fan.
