Hello, my name is Kurt Boyer (also known as “The Gridiron Geek”) and I have landed a job with Coach Off. I'm with the company but not here to write an ad.
As chief blogger, I’d like to lurk and check the pulse in Miami after big games. Local boards are unsurpassed for ground-zero reporting of close calls in the 4th quarter, so I hope to pick up on any controversy over play-calling, 4th down decisions, 2-point conversions etc. which is the theme of Coach Off.
Happy to chat about the 'Phins chances this year too. Cheers guys.

Welcome to the forum! If you're looking for other places to write then send me a PM...some friends and I just put together a Dolphins news site and we're looking for bloggers.
As far as controversy goes, we choked on a 4th and inches, had a blocked field goal, dropped a deep bomb, and had two other TD passes dropped/missed. Even though Miami's offense was sluggish, we should have beat Seattle by 20- and that's without our best WR, RB or center in uniform. So what I guess what I'm saying is, don't sleep on Miami this season. Their defense looks legit and the offense should come around in the following weeks.smahtaz likes this. -

Yeah, Ajayi probably isn't our best running back overall...but he might be on paper since he's younger with fresher legs. He was penciled in as the starter until about a week ago, so I couldn't resist adding him for cool points. =)smahtaz likes this.
