Too early to tell, but early signs look good for him...and bad for Hagan...

I had to go with "too early to tell" bro. I have seen players have amazing one-game or even one season performances, only to fall the the category of "also ran". I like what he showed on Sunday and am hoping that is becomes one of those true bargains down the road.

I agree. I can't remember but there was that guy from Philly that ran his yap after having one good game then was shut out the next. It was a playoff game to if I remember. Then he was released at the end of the season. Speaking of this topic did anyone else get flash backs watching a short quick white guy wearing #83 running down the field? :confused2:

Who knows, he might have some talent. He should definitely get some more looks in the last two games. Maybe he can be our new Welker, he's wearing the right number. Is that just a coincidence that he got that number? I wonder.

For serious Dolphin Fans, Camarillo is a "rock star" when we turn this ship around, the one guy who may have saved us the ignomy of a winless season could be Greg Camarillo....:ffic:

I expect him to be our #5 WR for years to come, a solid trust worthy guy that can step into the mix for any other WR that goes down, give breathers, and most importantly produce with reliable hands and route running when he gets his chance on the field.

That said, not a super star, but a solid depth guy (that all NFL teams crave) that we need and will help us again!

I takes a big heart for somebody with his size and speed to play in the NFL. He made one of the most important catches in the team's history and you can't take that from him. I don't know what his future holds. I'd like to see him come back and make some clutch catches. Maybe not history making (or avoiding) catches but clutch 3rd down catches like the last one:up:

He'll always have a special place in Dolphins history. I think he may be a good 4th or 5th receiver. Who knows though, maybe he's our new Welker

I watched him at the Wembley game. Lemon locked on to the right hand side of field for one passing play. Camerillo was wide open on the Left side of field and i mean WIDE open. He would have had 60yd TD if Lemon had spotted him. It was bittersweet seeing him take that 65yder to the house.
Too early to say yet tho how hes going to develop.

Camarillo made a play that will always be remembered...but.

He is too slow to get seperation and too limited because of his speed to be a wideout. We all love these stories just like we loved the Juggernaut, and we should enjoy the moments.

If he is put in the slot and not asked to do more than that offensivly and you can get him some seperation as a possession guy with angles and motion then he does have good hands, blocks, smart, gives good effort, and will catch in traffic. Then he can be an effective #4 or 5 guy and help on St's. Their is room for a guy like Camarillo but not in a regular rotation or as a wideout backup. He IS a lot like Welker, best in the slot with an accurate QB. He does not have Welkers quickness but is a better blocker and has just as good of hands. He is also a luxury being that he cannot split out and be a true backup WR....he is a slot guy only ............ IMHO.

Thank goodness he played for us Sunday though.

Hagan has turned the corner a little bit but not fully yet. Hagan has definately been solid. Caramillo on the other hand is not much more than a slot reciever. I think he fits best there but IMO i am not jumping on the bandwagon of him being the next wes welker(at least not yet).

He runs crisp routes and has good hands. Not a star but he'll be a solid reciever out of the slot.

i tend to agree with this statement. he's shown over the last few weeks he can produce. sure he still drops the odd ball or two... but nobody's perfect. he looks alot better than he ever has. its easy to see the fact that hes getting playing time now, and its starting to pay off...

At uni we had a drinking game called "Nine Coronas" - with the lyrics suitably adjusted the aim was to dwon nine coronas in one playing of the song. Very messy.

    I wouldnt say that.

Agreed Camarillo could be a solid 4th WR for us, could he be the next Welker?
Who knows? Its afr to early to tell, but Hugo G put it best.

No Finfan will ever forget that catch.

Hagan is the most frustrating Dolphin to watch for me. I didnt think much of the pick when we got him. Then he had some moments that made me think this guy might be alright. Then he went back to the drops. I was thinking time to dump him. Then a couple of good games and lets wait. Its been like that ever since he got here. I will say that he seems to be playing better then he's ever done and I'm cautuiously back to believing he may end up producing for us. Please keep it up

All I know is that I love the four wide receiver set with M. Booker, Ginn, Hagan, Camarillo, and Lorenzo Booker out of the backfield.

You can't run it on every play, but being that our tight ends are relatively ineffective, we should go to it as much as possible. Preferably out of the shotgun.

I think Hagan will be a solid 3rd receiver and Camarillo a solid 4th. That said I believe we need to get someone in FA to start along side Ted Ginn (hopefully Fitzgerald or Johnson from ARZ). Then our receiving core would look good.

Why are some posters saying he's short &/or slow. The guy is 6-1, taller than any of our current WR's & if i'm not mistaken he showed some damn good speed in that last catch.

He has potential IMO, but probably no more than a #3 guy.

  39. Definately too early to tell. There was a huge gaping hole in the Ravens defense that he exploited. It was very pretty to watch but only time will tell if can consistently do that. I think he has alot of potential but there was certainly a degree of luck on how things fell into place for him as well. Either way I dont care Im just enjoying it. What a fantastic way to end it. Give props to Cam for calling it, Cleo for throwing it, and Camirillo for running it. And a special thanks to the Ravens D for not stopping it.
