Greg Jennings puts his house on the market
Impending free agent WR Greg Jennings placed his Green Bay home on the market Monday.
For an asking price of $525,000, you can have Jennings' 4,788 square-foot house that is located 10 minutes away from Lambeau Field. It appears the Packers have already told the seven-year veteran that they won't be among the teams pursuing him when free agency opens in March. They're ready to move forward with Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Randall Cobb as their top three wideouts.

Is he going to be headed to Miami to reunite with Joe Philbin?

If he does come here (and I don't think he will), I wish him luck in finding a nice 4,788 square foot house for $525,000.

People talk about how its great there is no state income tax in Florida, but the cost of living starts to even out when you have to factor in the cost of housing.NolesNPhinsFan likes this. -

The Miami housing market is one of the worst in the country. If Jennings comes down here, he'll find a bargain easily enough.

Also, I took the liberty of fixing the thread title and spelling jennings name correctly. Hope you dont mind the spelling police rolling through your thread :)NolesNPhinsFan and SICK like this. -

Greg Jennings is the perfect veteran WR for this offense, IMO. It sure looks like he's coming, and I couldn't be happier... unless we also add Tyler Eifert and Stedman Bailey.

How many former players have we heard of though we are flat broke now because they squandered the money they were making while playing in the NFL? -

I went from 3000 sq foot house w/1 acre for 240K in Cincy, to 2200 sq ft house with 1/4 acre for 240 in Atlanta to 2000 sq ft house in Boston area for 600K. houses are getting smaller and the prices are almost tripling. going the wrong way. -

But it's not that big. You get used to it.Bpk likes this. -
Same reason Reggie Wayne stayed in Indy and signed a contract that is no doubt smaller than what he was going to earn on the open market. Greg Jennings seems like he's open to earning a competitive salary, and won't be demanding a contract like Mike Wallace or Dwayne Bowe.
You have to go beyond the narrative that is passed off as accepted truth. His sister said GO GET PAID? That's fine. She can say that all she wants. But in reality, I think Jennings and his agent know the thought process out there.
I'll take that over the word of his sister. -
And everyone keeps forgetting Philbin here. Everyone thought it was some foregone conclusion Flynn would want to come here and Philbin would want him. Well it didnt end up being the case. Philbin may rather go after young guns and draft picks and jennings might not be in his plans.
