I certainly hope so.

Non-story. He's still under contract through this coming season right? Who's to say they aren't just waiting it out to see if he's still got some football left in him? That organization is pretty smart when it comes to player relations and it would make sense should they not just throw money away on a player whose motor (or even desire, for that matter) is remotely questionable.
That said, as a Phinatic, I'm certainly hoping for the worst.unluckyluciano and Jeff like this. -
The pastriots are going through a transition with the franchise moving one way, the players moving a different way, Brady himself has withdrawn from things like OTA's that he used to have perfect attendance.
They are a bit like the early 80's steelers with new bodies moving in around the handful of super bowl winning players who have grown older.
The other oddball thing is Belicheck's odd relationship with UF's Urban Meyer, he attends UF's practices and has drafted a large amount from UF whose track record at placing elite talent in the NFL is a bit shaky. -
Drew Bledsoe was 31 when Brady replaced him and this was right after Drew had signed a whopper of a contract. Then you have the history with Bernie Koser and Billy Boy and now you add the real possibility of a dead 2011 and I'm betting that we have a real chance of seeing a new QB for the Pats show up at some point this year. I really would not be surprised to see Brady traded away for picks. Jmo.:shifty::wink2:

Up here you hear Pats talk all day everyday (well with the Celtics it has cooled down a bit) but there are ALOT of people up here that think Brady is going to walk after this year.....
Can u imagine Brady and Moss in the same year leaving....LOVE IT!!! -

I don't know whats worse, having Brady stay in New England, or watching them get a draft payday for him. -

The odds of Brady leaving the Patriots are the same odds as the following
Dolphins winning 2010 Superbowl
Chad henne gets MVP
Lady "Noodle Arm" Pennington completes a 40 yard pass
Dolphins finding a decent Safety
Let's just say Brady isn't leaving New England. -
