Well, shoot, I've been waiting to have an Irish Coffee until a TD was scored...that is not likely to happen any time soon.

    I would bet against that.

Also, Phillips reminds me of Fasano.

    Thee...Ohio State University

He looks to have that poise that many Qb's with more talent lack....

I would say Phillips may be a tad better than Fasano, Jerry will be getting some calls about his 3rd TE.

Yeah that's a good comparison too, though Boss seems to be better down the seam from what I remember.

Jones turned down a first rounder for his third TE last season, Martellus Bennett. :)

Am I the only one that likes Anthony Collins? I still think he's got some talent to work with.

still hasnt reached his potential. maybe this is the year. its his 3rd. up to now i would say he was a adequate backup but with the potential to be a solid starter

I liked Carl Nicks a bit more that draft, even though Nicks got into some off the field B$ and was a bit older coming out.

    Nothing wrong with Collins though.

He started a few games when Whitworth got injured and his first two match ups were against Terrell Suggs and James Harrison. Did a solid job on both. I believe he held Harrison sackless and Suggs had half a sack.

Ball placement and too strong of a throw was the issue there IMO.

ETA: He continues to have ball placement issues.

Guy's, I know this is off topic but I think Tony Mcdaniel is gonna be a player for us this year...This cat can play with lean and leverage, and talk about disrupting passing lanes. and check it, we know that he is a very strong, and he's only 25 years old, and will be so all year.

If Geno Atkins faces an NFL offensive guard, a starting one, he does not make that play IMO.

Scott turns the corner really well. I like that a lot about his game. He's also very good at the LOS. He can make defenders miss at the line.

Depends, McD is wildly inconsistent, maybe he is this yr's Starks?

I'd thought Phil Merling would blow up this yr, instead it will be McD, Langford or Odrick who can come out of nowhere.

Heck toss Charles Grant into that mix, we are loaded on the Dline Deej.

Ghee was not physical in college. I said it throughout the draft process. He was not that impressive IMO.

The umpire moving behidn the LoS is a dual edged sword for the phins, Cam W will have more holding calls, but Vern the Tree Carey will be called for more holds as well.

JT O'Sullivan does not look like a NFL Qb, even as a backup.

It's crazy how a guy like him can be in the league for as long as he has. I wish I got paid what he does to hold a clipboard.

Geno Atkins and Michael Johnson have straight up beasted in this game. I disagree that Brandon Ghee won't be physical. He laid Dezmon Briscoe out flat in practice, caught on tape, and he just laid out that return guy who waited until Ghee was already three yards away before he called fair catch.

john Phillips is "hurt"..right, they know if he plays to well they cannot stash him on the practice squad or he will be poached.

The guy to watch as I've said before from a Dolphins perspective is Jerome Simpson. Not one of my guys but a phenomenal athlete and he was wiiide open on that vertical for a would be TD before JT O'Verthrowagain struck.
