LOL, to be fair....did you predict a Miami win today? I can't think of anyone on this board that was 100% confident that we'd win. Kyler Murray is a nightmare match-up for us and Tua was making his 2nd start without his top 2 RB's...I certainly didn't expect the W until we scored that defensive TD. From that point forward I was maybe 50/50 on our chances.
Heck, with 3 minutes left in the whole game I wasn't 50/50 on our chances!Ronnie Bass likes this. -

I did say last month that we'd win six straight, but I changed it a few weeks back to "We'll win 5 of 6 or 6 of 7." I was hoping we'd win but I wasn't confident at all. -
I know it's kind of a trite response, but I like being undervalued and hope that the guys keep playing with a big chip. However, I don't think we will be the underdog against LAC.
It will be interesting to watch how the team responds as we start to move from underdog to favorites. Flores has been very good at getting the guys to play ball while expectations were low. If he can keep it going when the stakes are higher, that's a huge plus.Patster1969 and Irishman like this. -

It will be very interesting to see what these idiots have to say about our upcoming games...
vs Los Angeles Chargers (W)
at Denver Br.oncos (W)
at NY Jests (W)
vs Cincinnati (hmmm, W)
vs Kansas City (L)
vs New England (W)
at Las Vegas Raiders (hmmm L)
at Buffalo (W)
My picks in blue and that's just a guess. After seeing what I've seen thus far this season, I'm thoroughly convinced we can finish the season 10-6Irishman likes this. -
By the way, your guesses up there add up to 11-5, LOL. I had the same picks for the final 8 games BUT I guessed a loss today. -
Predicting us to win wasnt great foreknowledge, it was homerism to a degree.
There is no logical way to look at the game scenario and feel confident we could win without putting aside all the Arizona advantages in favor of liking us.
Also just to be clear, saying we have a chance to win isnt the same as predicting with certainty that we WILL win.Last edited: Nov 9, 2020Irishman likes this. -

Here was my reasoning:
I reviewed their record this year - their wins were either against weak teams or not that convincing. There was no evidence of domination. Indications were that it would be a close game. I had us losing to the Rams and the way this team has been playing I expected a bounce back from a tough loss at home in what would be something of a trap game for the Cards.resnor and AGuyNamedAlex like this. -
I'm just saying they have a very dynamic offense and their defense isn't awful all around, we were starting a rookie QB who has played one full game in the last year or so without a starting or even backup quality HB.
I'm very very impressed with the grit our team showed to win.
I like your reasoning, I'm just saying I dont see how anyone could be super confident we would in fact win. -
Not too many will admit it.
Well done Mr. Orlovsky.xphinfanx, Phil Hutchings, KeyFin and 1 other person like this. -
Public service announcement--Regardless of your medium, be it sports, local, national, international, entertainment, financial...regardless of the news, do you own research and make your opinion decision based on your own information.
According to all of these "experts",
-The Dolphins were a doomed team from the beginning of the season
-Initial Vegas odds had Miami winning only 6 games this season
-Miami could be moving from Tua in 2021
-Fitzpatrick was not going to be a quarterback you can rely on
-Replacing Fitzpatrick with Tagovailoa after having 3 wins by double digits margin made no sense
These idiots are as smart as a box of rocks. We're all smarter than them so bunk anything THEY have to say. -
