I just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a very happy and safe 4th of July. There is only one thing I love more than the Miami Dolphins and that is America. Today I fly my flag in tribute to everyone who bled the ground red so that we could be free. I also wanted to tell everyone fighting over seas that you are not forgotten. God bless America. Thank you. For not only your kind words for today, but for your service to this country. Not because I agree with the current war, but because I believe that there are those like me who should have the freedom to not fight if we want. It's people like you that afford people like me that freedom. For whatever reason you see yourself as able to go over and pick up arms. I can't make that due to personal beliefs. Thank you to your servicemen and women as well, and to all people past and present who realize the importance of keeping this country united. Thanks to those brave men, in 1776, who committed treason against the worlds biggest empire to put their foot down and tell them "these are our ideals, back off, and get out".

We are all so very grateful to you and all our military for protecting the freedoms we so casually enjoy and often fail to appreciate. All I can say to you on this day is you and your military brethren are in my prayers every day and THANK YOU!

I got to spend some 4th of July's in the U.S. during my college years and it was always a good time. The fireworks are always a treat, whether on the lake or wherever. Have fun all and be safe.
