This is the first year I actually got invited to participate by some buds. So here's a question -- what's a good Drinksgiving beer or cocktail -- one you wouldn't necessarily have the rest of the year?

If I may answer for Sam on this one, I would suggest a Pumpkin flavored Ale.

A couple good ones are "SmuttyNose Pumpkin Ale" which is actually brewed by friends of mine, or "Dogfish Head Pumpkin".

You could always go with the Sam Adams Octoberfest, but then we would have to call you a corporate whore, and you don't want that.

I went to a tittie bar in Portland and one in Troutdale in OR on a crawl-trip many years ago; those women were homelier than even regular strippers.

Travis, you want REALLY nice-looking strippers, you have to go to Solid Gold or Pure Platinum in South FL. If they're still there; the locals can say.

True story....In Cali on business, a few buddies partake in some action (SD area)......the largest of the bunch, accidentily tosses one of his crumbled up $20 on the stage (he meant to toss $1)....so after the music ended, the young lady comes over to thank him....he admits his error and asks for his money back...then gives her $1! She smiles, gives him his $20. None of the other working girls would spend any time or attention to him the rest of the evening.

It was so classic!!!!! hahahahaahahaha we still bust on him to this day. Everyone has to learn sooner or later!:lol:

As funny as some of this has been, I COMPLETELY and TOTALLY understand where Travis is coming from....and that is perhaps the first time that has ever happened... :shifty:

I was a House Framer for many years out of high-school, and part of that territory includes strippers and their establishments.

For the record, I got very tired of going very quickly. I just never understood the extremely un-realistic atmosphere involved.

So for whatever its worth, I stand by Travis and agree with what he is saying...and trust me, I am far from behing Homosexual, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Truth is, for all the money my buddies were BLOWING at those strip joints, I was actually spending on dates... and real interaction...with real girls....that didnt have falsies.....and bad cocaine habits....and that I actually felt comfortable being seen with in public......

Funny, just my take... and perhaps Travis as well.....
