Berardino didn't "report" anything. He looked at the situation and simply wondered whether the drafting of Martin could be a precursor to Long's departure.

Considering we haven't resigned Long, and drafted a guy who isn't a natural RT to play that spot, it's not some kind of completely ludicrous speculation.

Yes, it is ridiculous, we have a hole at RT not at LT. Everyone knows that. It was obviously speculative. It was speculative towards the negative however when the pick is nothing put a positive. When a national guyy reads it, he figures a local reporter is in the know, bing, bang boom....Silver is reporting we're getting rid of Long.

 

I think Berardino was just doing Longs agent a favor. Sometimes that's how negotiations work.

 

It wasn't really negative though. It was speculation absed on logic. Long is very expensive. Martin is very cheap. If MArtin can even be 75% as good as Long on the elft side is that something you consider?

I'm just saying, it wasn't some kind of ridiculous, completely out there speculation.

 

That's not logical in the actual situation. If this happened in a vacuum, then fine. But we all knew he was drafted to fill the RT spot. It is negative. It is furthering the notion we are inept. Again, look at what I posted. Does Silver take that speculation as a negative or positive?

 

i think the floridia media was pimping Tannehill and if he fails they will say he deserves 5 or 6 chances while everyone else can can that he isnt the answer , this is if he isnt sucessfull if Tennehill is sucessful then they wil bash him so which way will it be ?

its possible that everyone except the dolphin fan base and the double standard florida media can see that the dolphins are a fraud at least on the offensive side of the ball.

defensivly Miami should have a playoff type of defense . its the wr corp that has people fooled.
