I know we have a pro shop, but nobody has been there in a month or so... Anyway, I want to buy a new phins hat. Only problem is I hate the New Era look. The hats are too long in the crown and boxy overall. It's a shame, there's like 4 of them I really love the design of. And they're quality buys. Anyone know of good quality, non boxy, fitted? I've been to lids, hatland, etc... I really like the Zephyr DH/DHS shape personally. Would be nice if New Era came out with some high quality version of those size hats. So yeah, anyone got an idea or link?
I bought this one a few weeks ago. I got a L/XL and it's actually a little too big for me which is extremely shocking... my head is BIG : http://shop.miamidolphins.com/Miami...etch-Print-Mesh-Flex-Hat-_-1123391954_PD.html
I am! just bought three for me and my buddies, looking forward to rocking that sweet New Era solid aqua this sunday at Sunlife! mmmm mmm mm smells like victoryy!
It is the new era but I like it. http://shop.miamidolphins.com/Miami...eat-Seeker-Adjustable-Hat-_1249260977_PD.html Heres one I have. I like the off white because white never stays white for me long. http://www.fansedge.com/Miami-Dolph...-Paintbrush-Snapback-Hat-_-1426101843_PD.html
This is why I don't wear fitted hats. They never fit right and as you said they look boxy and tall. I love the flex-fit hats. The brims are bent and they always fit right and look good.
Flex hats don't look too bad. I know the reebook one I got a few years back sucked though. The material was terrible. It was like plastic. Maybe the Nike's are better?
Got this one a few months ago: http://www.footballfanatics.com/NFL...s_2012_NFL_Draft_Fitted_Hat_-_Charcoal_Orange As you said w New Era the crown is def big, but I've found that they fit better if you bend the brim more. I generally don't like New Era, but I liked the charcoal/orange too much to pass up.
That's pretty cool. I saw an old "D" fitted hat (The Dolphin D logo, I think McDuffie used to wear it) on ebay. I don't know the brand, so I can't buy it. All these companies size differently. And it's over a decade old, so who knows if anything has changed. I think I might buy a new era and try to form it. I was reading about a way to get the polyester to mold to your head to take away the tall crown boxy look and give it a nice low profile appeal instead. It involves an oven though, so I'm kinda nervous lol. I'm either pissing 35 bucks away or going to end up a happy customer present and future. We'll see...
