I think that this cut should finally put to bed the notion that the Patriots have a specific way of doing things. First they release Bodden, now Haynesworth. Haynesworth was supposed to be the key to making their defense dominant again. Somewhere along the way reality set in. New England is dead last in defensive yards per game, dead last in passing yards given up, and just average in rush defense. Their defense is suspect folks. I'll be shocked if they do anything in the playoffs. They'll go as far as brady can carry them.
