Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, a free agent who was slapped with the franchise tag, is willing to sign his tender offer and report to training camp — as long as the Titans agree that he won’t get franchised again next year.
Haynesworth’s agent, Chad Speck, tells Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean that the parties are far apart on a long-term contract extension, but that he’s hoping they can work out a compromise that would get Haynesworth in camp.
