Q. With this week's game against the Buffalo Bills, do you think your team can look past an opponent's record and just focus on the importance of the game?
TS: Yes I do. One of the things that's interesting in our league is that there are plenty of examples of teams falling into that trap so I try to bring that to the attention of the players. Our team knows how hard they have worked to put themselves in a position where these are now meaningful games. The opponent at this point really doesn't matter, the records don't really matter. What matters most at this point is the way we perform.

dolfan7171New MemberI am glad that Sparano is making the team understand the importance of not overlooking a team due to injuries or poor record. I like when he agreed with Andy Cohen that the Bills was a dangerous team. I didn't think about Buffalo in that way. But now that I am, it makes sense: They are in need of a coach, players are playing for their jobs, coaches are trying to do better to keep their jobs. So from that perspective, they are going to be a dangerous team to face. They have nothing to lose but ruin our chances for a playoff run. I admit in another thread, I expected a blowout. Now I don't think the same way. I think we could win it but not by 3 or 4 touchdowns.

padre31luxury_boxTough to tell how this game will turn out, we probably can run the ball on the Bills but if they manage to get a large lead, maybe 10 pts, their secondary is really good.
