Thanks Heath, We will do our best!!!! http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/2008/12/reaction_from_f.html
Class act from a local guy and former Fin. I'm sure we'll hear from other former Fins as the week goes on.
Wes let the Patriot arrogance rub off on him too much since he's gotten to New England. See snow angel celebration. Two years ago he would have just gave the ball to the ref and that was it.
I bet you Wes is quietly saying "yeeaah well, we didn't have Tom Brady all season but if we did we would have been AFC East Champs instead....i'm just saying" But he wouldn't have the balls to say it in public.
And the funny thing is I doubt they would have been much, if any, better with Tom this season. Sorry Wes but Tom Brady wouldn't have stopped the wildcat week three, and Cassell did a great job.
IMO, it's an illusion to think the Pats would have been no better with a healthy Brady all season. It took Cassel a few games to really get going, and that probably cost the Pats a first half win. The Cassel we faced in the first Pats game wasn't close to equal to the Cassel we faced the 2nd time around. I think overall, Cassel's last 8 games were better than the first 8.
No doubt Cassell had some growing pains and we were able to take advantage of them in our first match up.
