Been there done that. I lived in Tucson for about 10 years till recently. Hence the screen name. You might be surprised by all the Arizonians in here actually
Dallas, he was from Phoe-nix. Cleveland, he was from Dee-troit. And Tex, I don't know where Tex come from.
Welcome dude! On a side note, I wanted to ask you bros who live or lived in Arizona something. I was dating this chick I met in NYC. She was really hot, but totally insane! Anyway, I won't get into that, but she lived in Arizona for a long time and she said that in Arizona, outside the cities obviously, that there are scorpions, Black Widow spiders, killer bees and ants, coyotes and some kind of wild pigs that go through the peoples garbage at night. A guy who worked for me said he was stationed there when he was in the Army or something and they would sometimes have to go get something from the supply area or whatever...and when they would open up the big garage doors, he said that all of these Black Widow spiders would come falling down. That's freakin' crazy! Question: Is this true? and if so, how the f--- does anyone stay alive there?... How in the hell do you like sit and relax on a lawn chair and have a barbecue or something with all of these killer pests around? They must have massive anti-venom sections in the drug stores out there, huh? I would absolutely love the weather. I hate the cold. Not good being a New Yorker. Sorry, I just always wanted to ask someone else this whom was from Arizona. NYC Phin fan here. Does it show?. I haven't been out west much. Just Cali. really. This reminds me of that Woody Allen line: "If I was to make a movie about the suburbs, it would be called Bugs on the Screen Door." Again, welcome dude. Peace!
Its all true brother Sceeto, but its in the cities as well as the burbs. The "Pigs" are called Javalina (Have a leen a) and aren't actually pigs but giant, blind stinky rodents. As for Black Widows, they are all over the Southwest, and a damned pain to get rid of. I had a hot-tub in Tucson, and they loved living underneath it. Never saw a "wild" scorpion in my 12 years there, but knew many that had. I hike quite a bit, and saw dozens of rattle snakes. They really prefer to keep their distance, and that rattler can be heard pretty quickly. You know that when you hear it, freeze, locate it and go the other way....just like nature intended. Coolest thing I ever saw was a Gila (Heal a) monster. Incredible lizard, and very poisonous if I remember correctly. They are very very rarely seen in the wild.
LOL! Thanks bro! ....and Holy Poop! OMG!! Holy ----! That sounds relaxing. Oh yeah! I knew I forgot one or two. Does anyone have pets there and aren't they like dead in their first night out? Oh snap! That's crazy! I guess it's the balance to all that beautiful weather. Anyway, thanks for the info. bro. You gave me a smile to start my day.
Whats happenin! I live in Scottsdale, hope you enjoy the site!! There's a lot to look at....and no, im not just talking about the ladies lounge ha.
