Okay...for a couple of months..I have noticed that my right foot always got a little pain after doing some physical activity.

Saturday I engaged in drunken olympics at the beach...(football, volleyball, etc...)

We took the games a little too serious...

On Sunday I could not walk.

    Today (monday...) I CAN. WTF?

But my right foot is much weaker. I can barely lift myself with my right toes without some pain.

I can run...but I feel as if my right foot is MUCH MUCH weaker.

I know what sprained ankles feel like...it is not it.

I feel as if my achillies region is what is weak.

what do you think I have? (I am not going to a doctor for this)

 first thing that popped into my head. go to a doctor. but i dislike going to doctors too.

i have no idea what it could be. does your whole foot touch the ground when you walk?

I do not have flat feet.

I have no pain whatsoever now. On sunday I thought I had a broken foot.

    it is just very weak.

weak as in..it has no strength really.

    for example:

stand up...try to raise yourself with your left toes (like a ballerina)...I can do that easily.

I try to do it with my right toes and I can't get off the ground.

It sounds like a stress fracture to me but I'm not a doctor.

I've heard these things flare up during physical activity as opposed to normal everyday activity.

I didn't mean flatfooted I meant when you walk does your heel touch the ground without thinking about it?

A guy I work with is a runner and he was on crutches for about two months.

He had a stress fracture in his foot. In order for it to heal up the guy had to keep weight off of it.

    Yes.

    I have no pain.

I just have no strength in my right foot.

i can actually kick a ball as well.

I can't push off with any effectiveness of my right foot.

it is like clockwork that after I play a sport every week..I get pain.

I just read up on Stress fractures..and it seems clear that this is most likely what I have.

only treatment is to stay off it. (that sucks major balls)

If you are insured, go see a podiatrist.

I can understand it if your not insured though.

Better to be safe than sorry, my friend. You should get to a doctor before it becomes more serious than it needs to be.

Could be a stress fracture, could be a partially torn tendon. Best to let a professional help you before you end up having problems for the rest of your life...

I hurt my foot playing ball and It went away with time. It only hurt some of the time and never all the time. One day I was in real pain and the next I was a ok. It did go away with time so I think you will be ok. It took about 8 months to heal tho

    I have too much insurance.

    anybody need surgery in here?

just hate doctors. some people are afraid of heights....the water...etc...

    doctors terrify me.

I am gonna bite the bullet though and see a doctor...but this is very likely a stress fracture.

Insured people are the worst about going to the doctors, really  I know its rarely a pleasant experience, but at the least in this case go in and see what they say, maybe they can do some tests or an XRay to confirm it. If its surgery that gives you the willies explore other options first and check for a second opinion if need be.
But if your insured, theres no excuse for not going

Just got back from the podiatrist.

I have bad Heal spurs but they are formed okay and away from the tendons so...surgery is not needed.

    NO Stress Fracture.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and a Sprained Achilles Tendon.

I already got some physical therapy ...and will get some more over the next 2 weeks.

    Thanks to all.

Do you any swelling? If not, I would say it's a stress fracture, they take a long time to heal but they do heal. Not much a doctor can do. If it is swollen, it could be something completely different.
