I had ronnie as a keeper, picked up ricky in the 4th. so who should i start for week 1? i think all signs point to ricky, but does anybody know something I do not? thanks in advance.
ricky all the way.....this regime is about "earning" the spots.....ie: camarillo working with the 1st team......ricky will most likely get the brunt of the carries due to his work in the preseason and practices.....id 100% go with ricky....if im wrong, ill let you E-Punch me in the face
Thats a tough call bro. Im in a similar situation, I have a choice between starting Ronnie or Jamal Lewis. Ronnie KILLS the Jets and Dallas has decent run D. But Ricky is obviously the starter. Fantasy leagues are about TD's overall and not yards though. So assuming (speculation on my part) Ronnie gets the goal line carries he may be a better option.
I don't think it's as simple as goal line rushes versus who's making the drive. It would be nice to know if we were reverting to 2005 format, where Ricky and Ronnie alternate drives. Carolina is doing that, but I don't know if we are. My gut says go with Ricky.
i personally think its going to be an even Ricky/Ronnie split... so its a toss up... i actually wouldn't be surprised to see Ronnie get more carries than Ricky to be honest...
I also have Ricky and Ronnie, but they are my #3 and #4 backs respectively. The homer in me wants to start Ricky, but the fantasy football player in me knows I have to start Steven Jackson and Willie Parker.
my other backs are duece mcallister and lo booker. so i dont really trust duece at this point. its gotta be ricky or ronnie me thinks. and i know ur kidding, but you did raise a worthy point.
Yeesh. Go with Ricky then. They seem to be giving him the majority but really no one knows. No way to dump Deuce or Lo?
i've since dumped Lo for sammy morris. this is a deep, 12 team keeper league, thats in its 7th or 8th year. waiver wire pickins are always slim.
Ronnie looked twice as good as ricky last week. and dont get me wrong, i LOVE both backs. i have no prejudice here. tough one.
