In Vegas it is widely rumored that Ralph Wilson's boys are always "tampered with".

Yet he is much better than Edwards.

I don't know about the comparison. I just want Henne and Marshall to have a great season.

Marshall is 100 times better than Braylon "Butter Fingers Edwards" who Vegas actually had a prop bet on once on how many passes he would drop in a game. Whenever he used to be out of the lineup in Cleveland the Browns used to always win- I'm not kidding. After Henne plays one quarter with Marshall he's going to forget all about Butter Fingers.

It is well known that Marshall has been among the league leaders in drops the last few years, and actually had more drops than "Butter Fingers Edwards" in 2009. Marshall is better, but for other reasons besides dropped passes. As good as he is, unlike Edwards, Marshall has never played in a playoff game.

Those of you who are taking this as a straight up comparison between edwards and marshall are missing the point. Edwards and Henne were great together in Michigan. Edwards in the NFL, not so much. But Henne took full advantage of his targets in college.

He didn't have more drops than Edwards. He had four less.

That's not on him. You can't compare that.

Marshall and Edwards are not even close in any measure of comparison ....

i advocated, predicted and wanted Marshall in a trade .... i never and would never advocate for anything but more drops from Edwards ... Edwards is not mentally tough at this level ... you can see that in the way he plays

Lets pray he does the same thing in the NFL, for many years to come, and especially this season.

I hope that Henne does learn to trust Marshall and sometimes just throw him the jump ball like CP did on his one long completion in the preseason. I worry that Henne has been so indoctrinated to protect the ball that he won't do that. That thinking made sense when you had Ginn and Cam as WRs since those guys needed at least some separation to catch the ball. But with Marshall, he has an advantage even when covered as long as you put a little air under it and give him an opportunity to jockey for position.
