i dunno about a WR away from winning the superbowl.....we still need inside linebackers, and OLBs to play when jt and jp finally retire.....not to mention a TE....and ronnie isnt signed past this season.....

we are more than a WR away. it will help immensely though.

He got Marshall and didn't raise his game. That helped seal in our minds that he wasn't that good. This is why I believe we need to surround Tannehill with a better cast. If he is unable to step up with a better team then we will know that he is not the answer. But without a certain amount of talent, it's hard to get a clear opinion on the subject.

Just because it was said before doesn't mean it wasnt right. He needed a WR threat. So does Tannehill. This looks worse for Ireland to me than Tannehill. We have had the same need for 4 years now. Probably longer actually, we dont have playmakers, plain and simple.

Yeah, 4-5 years later, this team continues to be totally devoid of offensive talent and the person responsible for talent acquisition continues to get a pass for it. Sure does sound familiar.

Necro-ing this thread proves nothing except that the FO has avoided legitimate/elite Scoring and Playmaking talent on the offensive for quite a long time.

If you are trying to prove, for whatever reason, that The same thing was said about Henne and that means Getting Tannehill more weapons (a lot more) wouldn't improve this team in a night and day type fashion -- youre wrong.

this might have countered your point in that sense.
