Henne not guaranteed to start in 2010

Henne will compete w/Pennington & Thigpen for the start
Pennington returns & the best QB is the starter

 

I think I detect a "my guy vs your guy" attitude among some of us.
However, I also think that what all of us really want is for the best guy to be starting, regardless of who it is.
I have no problem whatsoever with Thigpen starting if he is the better of the two. For me, he's largely unknown. About all I have to go by is his stat line; bearing in mind too that KC has had their share of OL issues.

I haven't seen too much to point to Henne being significantly superior thus far to Thigpen.

 

Just read on Rotoword where Ireland commented today on Henne being the team's starting QB.

The only competition will be between Thigpen and White, which really isn't a competition at all bc Thiggy looks like Joe Montana compared to PW.

If we bring back Pennington, it'll probably only be to trade him or cut/convert White.

Henne is obviously the QB this year and for a while?

 

Sparano did his typical "coach speak" and said Henne would have to compete and people freaked out. There was never any question he is and will be the starter going forward.
