ATVZ400New MemberOPs of this afternoon, they still have not started negotiations with Michigan quarterback Chad Henne, the 57th overall selection. Quarterbacks almost always are trickier to sign than other positions.
They also must sign Clemson defensive end Phillip Merling. He’s in an unusual spot. The 32nd pick usually is a first rounder, but because the Patriots were stripped of a first-round pick as part of their Spygate punishment, the Dolphins’ first second-round pick moved up one spot.
SuncoastFinsFanNew MemberI don't think Merling's situation is tricky at all. He's the 32nd pick. You take the 32nd pick from last year and make the adjustment and thats what he gets.

PhinsRockluxury_boxHenne signing late would not bother me one bit, he's just going to ride a clip board this season anyway.

We just want a Qb thats not a liability...thats been lacking since danny was here.
I like Beck,but at this point,I just want a good QB.

I'm not a big Beck fan so I'm glad we have Henne. But between the two of them I hope we have one real starter on QB.
