http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/40184084/ns/sports-player_news/ Chad Henne will have an MRI on his injured left knee at 6:30PM ET Sunday. Henne was on crutches following Sunday's game. The Fins have to speed up the examination process because Chad Pennington's throwing arm is injured again, and Miami is headed for a short week with a Thursday night game scheduled for Week 11. Tyler Thigpen replaced Henne (who replaced Pennington) Sunday and completed 4-of-6 passes for 64 yards, one touchdown, and no turnovers. If Henne isn't 100 percent, it seems likely that Thigpen would get the nod against the Bears.
Good that they are moving quickly on this because if Henne can go on Thursday our need for another QB is minimal for now. The OLine better be ready because the Bears wont care if its minor or not. If Henne starts they will be comming after him to test that knee. Our OLine better man up and protect our QB.
not sure if having the MRI today is a good thing or not... usually they wait a day due to swelling and all... guess the short week affects that? I think either way, he won't be playing Thursday, let alone starting.
I don't think he'll be playing either, but the question is.....Who are the 2nd and 3rd QB's, I HATE Thursday games but nonetheless we have no backups now.
i think the bigger question is who plays in two weeks. I would let thigpen play this week even if henne is healthy and unless thigpen tears it up have henne start in two weeks if healthy enough
jeff garcia line 2? not sure who else is out there but looks like we would need them both as we currently don't have a qb on the squad.
