Was never a huge fan of pocket passers Deej, always liked a Qb who could make something out of nothing with their running abilities as I believe that really helps to keep the chains moving especially when you are a run heavy offense, lost in the shuffle about the way things were is Jay Fiedler's 360 yds in 2001, for a punchless offense that sort of really helps things keep moving.

 

I'm pretty sure MrClean was referring to the fact that a great many fans want anyone, but can't rationalise it beyond their disdain for Henne. There was a fan this week who wanted Jake Delhomme to replace Henne. Seriously?

Our entire offense was overmatched against Cleveland, NY & NE. You can throw Chicago in there as well. But Henne played one of his better games vs Detroit, and he was solid vs Buffalo as well. With no running game, a banged up OL, and targets like Moore, Wallace, Curtis, Mastrud, Epps, Shuler etc to throw to, I think it's logical to expect Henne's play to suffer. I won't even mention the senile old man.

 

Matt Flynn was decent vs NE, let's get him!!!

Well, imho Henne played one of his best games in the 10-6 win over the Jest GMJ, he won that one ugly and made due with what he had to work with I thought next to the Lions game it was his best performance of the yr.
