I am not sure if anyone will like this but this is how i feel about the current state of the dolphins.
#1 over the last 20 years i have noticed three problems concerning the Fins.
a.
when we were a good passing team we were horible in the run game
especialy in the late 90's .
b.
when we were a good defensive team we have been average at best on offense and vice versa .
1.
why cant we
have a 4 dimensional offense ?
teams that try new things are the ones who get to the top.
2.
the dolphins have been doing the same thing on offense for nearly 20 years and we could never win the 2 nd rd playoff game
due to what reason ?
the lack of passing game andsince Dan left our qb's (al 50 of them)
have turned the ball over and we
have not scored more then 34 points in the second rd in all these years , see the problem ?
#2
Miami
has had nearly 6 offensive coordinator 's
in a 10 year span and no qb and wr can thrive and then the fans rip the wr and qb but not all fans are harsh on players, yet
we all need to look at the big picture
and see what is keeping us from winning and getting past the 2nd rd playoff curse.
#3
I hope I am making sense here but Miami does not take enough risk and has ran the same ole offense since Jimmy and it may be time to take a hard look at that.
#4
we seem to lose at home way too often plus
we seem to have
too many players defect to our rivial and win super bowls
I amnot saying keep a player for 50 years but i think we can improve in this area.
Finaly
I Have watched some college football
and three a couple of qbs that willbe available nest season so if miami cant win it all I hope we can pick low enough to grab qb Weeden
who has Marino-qsue like qualities and this cat has a swagger but there were two other qb's out there that we need to look at, yet I want Henne to succeed but i want us to get some depth at qb.
I hope we get serius and win the whole darn thing.

While i agree with many of your points, this doesnt really seem to be commenting on the current team. It seems to be more of a history lesson on the trends of the team/organization of the past 20 years.

This is good Aquafin. I agree the Dolphins to improve in every way. Hopefully we get to the promised land this year and put this behind us. Perhaps we can start a new thing in Miami. Good post.

This is how they make me feel sometimes:

What does this have to do with the current regime?
Yes we have had inept people running the franchise since they took over.
-
As noted above this isn't so much a comment on the current as it is a history. Also the offense has not been the same over the years. Wanny's offense was different than Saban's offense which was different than Cam's offense which was different than Henning's offense. And the offense next year will be different again. By all reports the offense that will be installed is a cross between the Pat's and Jet's offense.
We haven't seen it so we can't complain that it is
or isn't aggressive enough. If anything I would argue that our biggest problem has been too much change. New philosophies take time to install fully, usually two or three years. And they usually come with an overhaul of the types of players so that slows things down even more.

I
really didnt intend for for my original post to be a history lesson
; the post was to see
shich style of offense was the better offense and look and how
we were las i the league in points scored and it see if you guys thought maybe we over used the running game toomuch over the past 10 yearsand to compare this regime to the preceeding
teams in points scoered andall.
I would like to say thanks for the feedback
and for the record i dont remeber some of the stuff fins related because
i did not have internet back then and
in my area the fins are never mentioned muchso i fell like a red shirt solphmorein terms of knowing anything.
