How are things going in Dolphins land? Any predictions for this season. Hope you guys are doing great!
We're the youngest team in the league, with a fast and talented defense, an athletic Qb with talent and drive, very fast on all three levels of the field with Wallace/Miller/Keller, We don't give up the big play, and we added a hell of a lot of talent in a balanced way, oh, and Dion Jordan. Welcome back
With big moves in the offseason come big expectations. Anything less than 10 wins would be considered by most a failure. I'll wait and see how things look in preseason before making predictions. We have a lot of new players that are hopefully going to gel by the time the season starts as we have one of the roughest opening stretch of games in the league. At Cleveland, which might be considered a must win if we factor in the next four At Indianapolis vs Atlanta At New Orleans vs Ravens, this should be a winnable game for us If we can win the bookends of that stretch and one of the middle three, we'll be in fairly good shape heading into the bye week. Having not played any games vs AFCE teams yet, with four of our next six at home. Long way to go though, and many things can happen.
Generally we are happy with Coach Philbin and he seems to be building a very good team to a plan. We expect the Defence to be better than the Offence. On D we think we will be very hard to run on, but are hoping for more interceptions and sacks in the passing game. On O we are very excited about Tannehill, Wallace and co, but have concerns about the unproven running game. We expect that with a young team developing as a group under a good coach that we will improve our W-L record from last year, but don't expect to make a serious deep run in the playoffs. The tougher schedul is also tempering expectations. We think that 2014 will be a great year to be a Dolphins fan, and that 2013 will be about getting the pieces in place for sustained success.
Exactly, our opening schedule is just brutal, we could have beaten Indy last yr, Atlanta has owned us, the Ravens have owned us as well.
Good to see you Arod...maybe we can meet with you guys in the last game of the season ...And thanks for the coach .
