Last nite was off the charts... I know it was only the 2nd game for Henne but wow How calm + cool did he look on the last drive??? Mr cool showed me a bright lite at the end of the tunnel. He will lead us to the playoffs Congrats to henne for his first 4qtr comeback.... great job by the wildcat and both lines the fans were loud and strong the whole game, the place was rockin
There's an awful lot to be said for his poise out there. He never seems to get rattled. Even on the TD to fasano, no panic at all when it wasnt there, and didnt open up for him, just patience, waited it out, and dropped it in there. Same on that one play on 3rd down to camarillo. This kids going to be great. There may be a rough game or two ahead for him, but thats expected. I cant wait to see what the future holds.

My thoughts on Henne: 1. The TD throw to Fasano and the crucial first down to Camarillo were really amazing throws. There were very small windows and he delivered the ball with some serious zip. 2. The announcer mentioned Parcells' QB criteria. After watching last night, it was obvious why this criteria exists: The best QBs are the ones who make the right decisions (Henne & Penny) and not the ones with the rocket arms or world class speed. 3. The TD to Ginn was a bit under-thrown. Not a criticism, but it means that there is so much potential to the Henne-to-Ginn tandem. 4. Henne = Man. John Beck = Boy. I don't care how many 2nd round picks we've burned on QBs, we finally hit the mark.
Man, that's really splitting hairs. Any throw the receiver catches without breaking stride is, IMO, not underthrown. That said, I, too was very enthused about #3. Henne has a great head on his shoulders.
He slowed down a tad, but hitting Ginn in full stride is tough to do... It certainly doesn't take away how great that throw was AND how well he played though!
I'm not taking anything away from the throw. My only point was that with more practice, they could improve.
Article fails to mention that before the incessant whining by Peyton Manning (can you tell I don't like him? ) DBs were allowed to butt rape WRs up and down the field. That all changed when Manning went on national TV and cried about the Patriots (not TO crying "that's my quarterback" but close) and they changed the rules. Now, if you occupy the same vicinity they call flags.
